List and publish from the Dropstitch mobile app

Use the mobile List tab to edit products, publish directly to Shopify or eBay, and queue Vinted or Depop listings for desktop extension processing.

Use the List tab in the Dropstitch mobile app when you want to create, edit, and publish listings from your phone.

Before you start

  • Install the Dropstitch mobile app on iPhone:

Download on the App Store
  • Sign in with your Dropstitch account.

  • Connect the marketplaces you want to use in Set up Marketplaces & Cross-listing.

  • If you want to list to Vinted or Depop from the app, install the Dropstitch Chrome extension on desktop and keep that marketplace authenticated in Chrome.

  • Make sure your main Templates and required Attributes are ready.

How it works

The mobile List tab brings the listing workflow into the app.

In the List tab, you can:

  • open a product by tapping it

  • edit the same product information that is available from the List page on the website

  • publish directly to Shopify and eBay

  • queue Vinted and Depop listings for desktop Chrome extension processing

  • check selling activity in Activity Feed

  • use Stockroom to see tracked inventory

  • use Sold to see items that are already sold

  • use Analytics to check performance from your phone

Marketplace behavior depends on the connection type:

Marketplace type

Channels

What happens from the app

Direct publish

Shopify, eBay

The app can publish the listing directly after the product is ready

Extension queue

Vinted, Depop

The app queues the listing, then your desktop Chrome browser performs it when the extension session is open and authenticated

The mobile Stockroom tab works like Stockroom on the website.

The Sold tab is the same inventory view filtered to sold items, so you can quickly see what has sold across your connected platforms.

The mobile Analytics view shows the same analytics information available on the website.

Use it to check performance by category, product type, brand, listing value, turnover, and sell-through rate from your phone.

This is useful during sourcing when you want to quickly judge whether a bale, bag, or individual item is likely to give a good return.

How to use it

  1. Open the Dropstitch mobile app.

  2. Open the List tab.

  3. Create a new product, open an existing product, or continue with a product you captured in the app.

  4. Tap the product to open it.

  5. Review and edit the product information, including the fields you normally edit from the List page on desktop.

  6. Choose the marketplace or marketplaces you want to list to.

  7. Submit the listing.

  8. For Shopify or eBay, check the listing status from the app or in Stockroom.

  9. For Vinted or Depop, keep desktop Chrome open with the Dropstitch extension active so the queued action can run.

  10. Use Activity Feed if you need to see whether a queued action is still running, waiting, or blocked.

  11. Use Analytics if you want to review performance, sell-through, turnover, or listing value from your phone.

Success check

  • The product information is saved after you edit it in the app.

  • Shopify or eBay listings publish directly from the app when those channels are connected and valid.

  • Vinted or Depop actions appear as queued or processing until the desktop Chrome extension completes them.

  • The product appears in Stockroom with the expected marketplace status.

  • Sold items are visible from the Sold tab.

  • Analytics are available from the app with the same information as the website.

Tips

  • Recommended approach: test one product on Shopify or eBay first so you can validate the mobile listing flow before adding extension-based channels.

  • Keep Vinted and Depop connected on desktop before you depend on mobile queueing for those channels.

  • Use Activity Feed when a publish action looks delayed instead of retrying the same item immediately.

  • Use Sold for quick inventory checks when you only need to see what has already sold.

  • Use Analytics while sourcing if you need a quick performance check before buying a bale, bag, or item.

  • If a product needs deeper cleanup, open it in the app before publishing and review the same fields you would normally check on the desktop List page.

Advanced settings

  • Optional customization path: connect all marketplaces, tune required Attributes, and test direct plus queued channels before you use the mobile app for a full listing day.

  • This path takes longer upfront, but it helps if your team wants mobile publishing across Shopify, eBay, Vinted, and Depop.

  • For split workflows, one person can capture and edit on iPhone while a desktop Chrome session handles queued Vinted and Depop actions in the background.

Troubleshooting

  • Shopify or eBay does not publish: confirm the marketplace is connected, required fields are complete, and the product is ready to list.

  • Vinted or Depop does not publish right away: open desktop Chrome, confirm the Dropstitch extension is active, and make sure you are still logged into that marketplace.

  • A queued action looks stuck: open Activity Feed and check whether the action is waiting, blocked, or still running.

  • The product is missing required information: open the product in the app, edit the missing fields, and submit again.

  • I cannot see a sold item: open Sold first, then check Stockroom if you need the full product status view.

Value reflection

Without mobile listing, phone-based sellers still have to switch back to desktop for the final publish step.

The Dropstitch mobile app now lets you keep one-of-one inventory moving from capture to listing from the same phone workflow, while still using desktop Chrome where extension-based channels require it.

That gives operators more flexibility without breaking the shared Dropstitch tracking system.
