Localize how your product data is displayed across Dropstitch, from barcode labels to product descriptions and your listing grid.

What are Localization Settings?

Localization Settings help you align your store with the standards of your region or the expectations of your target audience. These values affect how data is displayed and formatted throughout Dropstitch, both in the backend and customer-facing exports.

πŸ’Ά Currency

Choose the default currency for your store (EUR, USD, GBP, etc.). This will be reflected in:

  • Product pricing across your grid

  • Barcode labels

  • AI-generated product descriptions

  • Marketplace exports (if supported by the integration)

βš–οΈ Weight Unit

Pick the unit for weight measurements:
​g, kg, lb, or oz.
Useful for shipping, product info, and barcode data.

πŸ“ Measurement Unit

Choose how you want to display garment measurements:
​cm, mm, m, in, ft, or yd.
These units will be used in:

  • Size fields (width, length, etc.)

  • Auto-generated descriptions

  • Barcodes and Shopify exports

Set the language used by our AI to generate your product titles and descriptions.
Currently supported:

  • English

  • Dutch

  • German

  • French

  • Norwegian

This controls how Dropstitch writes product descriptions for you, perfect for localizing listings across different markets.
