🔗 Connecting Dropstitch to Shopify

Connect your Shopify store to Dropstitch to automate product uploads, sync inventory and manage listings across multiple channels.

🧭 How to Set Up the Shopify Integration

Follow these steps to securely connect your Shopify store to Dropstitch:

1. Add Your Shopify URL

Head to Settings → Organization → Shopify Integration in Dropstitch.
Enter your store’s Shopify URL in the format:
your-store-name.myshopify.com

2. Create a Custom App in Shopify

  1. In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → App and Sales Channel Settings

  2. Click Develop apps for your store

  3. Click Create an app, name it “Dropstitch”, and confirm

3. Configure Required API Access

In the app configuration screen, click Configure Admin API Scopes, and enable the following scopes:

Access Scope

Permissions

Products

Read and write

Inventory

Read and write

Locations

Read and write

Apps

Read access

Publications

Read and write

Orders

Read access

🔐 Note: The read_orders scope is required to help manage stock status accurately when syncing listings.

Click Save once all scopes are selected.

4. Install the App

After saving the scopes:

  • Click Install App

  • Click Reveal Admin API Token and copy them over to Dropstitch

  • Do the same for the API key and API secret key

Once everything is filled in, click Connect Integration.

✅ You’re Done!

Your Shopify store is now connected to Dropstitch. You can now:

  • Sync and import products from Shopify

  • Push listings to other marketplaces

  • Keep product data up to date across platforms

  • Manage everything from your Dropstitch Stockroom
