This applies when background editing runs, but the visual result is not what you expected.
Work through these checks
Was background removal enabled before the upload? New results only reflect the setting if Remove Background was turned on before that upload or processing run.
Did you leave color and background image off? If background removal is on but no color or background image is selected, the output background becomes transparent by design.
Are advanced settings pushing the image too hard? If the result looks aggressive, reduce relighting and padding and test again on one item.
Is the image a close-up detail shot instead of a clean main image? Detail images can be over-removed more easily. Keep automatic editing on position 1 first, then review later images manually.
Success check
The edited result matches the background style you intended.
New uploads no longer show the same unwanted removal behavior.
