If your iPhone saves photos as HEIC, switch it to the more compatible JPG-style format before a desktop folder upload to Dropstitch.
Before you start
Do this on the iPhone you use for listing photos.
This changes the default format for new photos, not photos you already took.
How it works
Apple's High Efficiency setting saves photos as HEIC. Most Compatible saves new photos in a more widely supported format that is easier to move through resale workflows.
How to use it
Open Settings on your iPhone.
Tap Camera.
Tap Formats.
Select Most Compatible.
Take a new test photo.
Success check
New photos save in the more compatible format instead of HEIC.
Your next uploads move into Dropstitch without needing a format workaround first.
Tips
Make the switch before a large capture session so one batch does not contain mixed formats.
Existing photos stay as they are. Only new photos use the new default.
Troubleshooting
Still seeing HEIC files? The change only applies to photos taken after you switch the setting.
Using another phone too? Repeat the same check on each device your team uses for capture.
